The studio the door has been open on this plum perfect warm spring day and I have been selecting a few small charcoal drawings from this time last year. Views of familiar, local(ish) places. With the strengthening sun my mind casts back to other years and spring cycling trips around Bristol that formed the basis for these drawings and so many paintings.
