Purchasing work

Thank you for showing interest in collecting my work.

The following is generally how buying a work directly from me proceeds:

If prices aren’t shown, please enquire at abbottdr@gmail.com.
Postage in the UK is free, for anywhere else in the world I will provide a shipping cost.
I will provide you with an emailed invoice and agree details on how payment can be made.
Once I have received your payment I will wrap the work securely in as little plastic as possible and post it out to you. I will also send you an email containing tracking information.

Other notes:

Framed works are clearly marked. I can arrange to frame unframed paintings or works on paper. Please contact me to discuss.
All paintings are titled, signed and dated, often on the back in pencil, sometimes on the front in paint.
I ship everything fully insured and trackable. In the unlikely event a work gets lost or damaged in transit you will be refunded the full cost of both the artwork and the postage.
If you are buying from outside the UK your purchase may be liable to import/customs costs in your country. They are additional to the cost of the work and payable by you. Whilst I can’t control this, I may be able to provide a rough estimate of what those costs may be.
Whilst artwork cannot be returned for a refund, I am always very happy to supply additional photos and/or videos if you’re considering collecting a piece and need some extra reassurance before you buy.
